I am very attached to my hot water bottle. It comes on holiday (even overnight stays) and remains an ever-giving presence in my life. Perfect for arthriticy aches and pains and soothing for those anxiety induced tummy wobbles, Hot water bottles are a simple pleasure, especially in winter.
Here at Poppy and Honesty we have made two different styles of hot water bottle cover from our gorgeous striped velvets. They are super soft and cosy, fantastic to cuddle on a cold night. For some reason our velvet covers retain the heat really well (don’t ask me the science).
We think our hot water bottle covers make a gorgeous gift for Christmas. You are basically giving a warm velvety cuddle and telling the recipient to take a load off. Add a bar of chocolate and a magazine or book for the perfect gift bundle.
